Teamwork Trust has a Kettering-based centre in Northfield Avenue and supports adults with mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities, is now appealing for more local businesses to get involved and see the charity for itself.
As well as providing a programme of education projects and activities for its Wellingborough members, Teamwork Trust has a ‘factory floor’ at its centre and works closely with local businesses.
Nick Hayton, Business and Fund Development Officer, said: “We already work with a number of local businesses who outsource their commercial requirements to us – everything from assembly work and packing to paper handling, repairs and labelling. We also have a van and can organise collections, we have a fork lift truck and a range of equipment including a shrink-wrapping machine and weighing scales.
“Not only do we help companies meet their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals, but working with us makes excellent business sense. We are also rightly proud of our work with the wider community.”
