20 Jun Open Door Project Taking Shape
The Open Door Project, being run across five national towns across the UK, has arrived in Kettering with a new shop front appearing on Kettering High Street.
The nationwide scheme has seen landlords turn their empty shops into vibrant community hubs open to the public and Kettering has been selected as one of five pilot areas across the country for the ‘Open door project’ which will run for 12 months from spring/summer 2019.
The pilot scheme is being managed by the charity Meanwhile Foundation, in partnership with Meanwhile Space CIC Through this partnership and with the support of the landlord, Open Doors will help community groups make good use of Kettering’s high street.
More information will follow in due course and we look forward to sharing the news of other groups who will be using the facility.
